Snow Expo is coming!
The opening ceremony of the 5th Jilin International Ice & Snow Tourism Industry Exposition and the 24th Changchun Ice & Snow Festival will be held in Changchun.
At that time, nine main activities represented by the "China Ice and Snow Economy High-quality Development Forum" and 10 series of activities represented by the "Winter Olympics Theme" will be held, and nearly 300 series of ice and snow festival activities such as ice and snow culture, tourism, sports, business and education will be fully launched throughout the province.
Under the guidance of the Jilin Provincial People's Government, the Development Research Center of the State Council and the Organizing Committee of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, the Expo is co-sponsored by the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Changchun Municipal People's Government, supported by the World Tourism Alliance, the International Mountain Tourism Alliance, the China Ice and Snow Industry Development Alliance, the China Ice and Snow Tourism Promotion Alliance, the China Ski Resort Alliance, the China Ski Association, the Chinese Skating Association, the China Sporting Goods Federation and the Federation of University Sports of China, and co-organized by the municipal (state) people's governments, the Changbai Mountain Administrative Committee and the Meihekou People's Government, with Changchun Braim Convention and Exhibition Group Co., Ltd. as the exhibition organizing unit.

This snow expo was launched in Changchun. The exhibition area is located in Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center, with a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, of which the indoor exhibition area is 60,000 square meters, which is equivalent to 3,448 standard exhibition booths. It is equipped with seven halls, namely, the Snow Festival Theme Hall, the Winter Olympics Theme Hall, the Changchun Ice & Snow Theme Hall, the Changchun Metropolis Theme Hall, the Winter Olympics Creative Theme Hall, the Ice & Snow City Theme Hall, the Ice & Snow Commerce Theme Hall, and the Ice & Snow E-Sports Theme Hall.
Hall 1 is the theme hall of the ice and snow festival, which mainly hosts the opening ceremony of the snow expo, city (state) promotion meetings, the ice and snow silk road competition invitational competition, the ice and snow festival and forum, the winter Olympic winter Jilin ice and snow angel trail, and domestic and foreign theatrical performances.
Hall 2 is the theme hall of the Winter Olympics. The Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, together with its sponsors and cooperative enterprises, made a big appearance to spread the Olympic spirit and popularize the Winter Olympics culture. The winter Olympics licensed merchandise booth here will meet the consumption demand of consumers and collectors for Beijing Winter Olympics souvenirs.
Hall 3 is the theme pavilion of Changchun Ice and Snow, which mainly displays the main image of Changchun, the ice and snow festivals in Changchun, and the ski resort in Changchun.
Hall 4 is the theme hall of Changchun city, with the theme of urban ice and snow, and interprets the ice and snow tourism resources of Changchun city with four sections: ice and snow products exhibition area, urban ice and snow image exhibition area, hot spring exhibition area, travel agency+hotel exhibition area.
Hall 6 is the theme museum of the winter cultural and creative industries. The cultural and creative resources museum takes the theme of "National Customs, National Rhyme, National Tide" as its theme, and nearly 80 cultural and creative units in the country display it in a centralized way. The exhibition hall is composed of four exhibition areas, namely, the museum's literary creation, the IP operation of literary and artistic creation, the exchange of cultural relics and works of art, and Jilin's intangible heritage. It will create a national expo that will refresh the elegance of the ages. The rich on-the-spot activities brought expo and cultural and creative industries closer to the people of Changchun to meet the diverse cultural needs of the public.
Hall 7 is the theme hall of the Ice and Snow City. The exhibition is mainly about ice and snow cities and scenic spots in various parts of the province and other provinces. All the booths in the province are specially equipped. Six provinces and cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Hainan, Guangxi, Ningbo and Altay and 33 scenic spots are participating in the exhibition.
Hall 8 is a theme hall for ice-snow equipment and ice-snow e-sports. It is equipped with an ice-snow e-sports display area, a ski equipment mall, an outdoor ski equipment area at Outlets and a professional equipment area.
A brand live broadcast zone will be set up on the verandah, and e-commerce live broadcast platforms such as Taobao, JD.COM, Tik Tok, Xiao Hong Shu, Kwai, Mushroom Street, Netease Koala, Vipshop, Pinduoduo and Suning.cn will be invited to set up live broadcast zones on the verandah and the verandah, with the brand as the rallying point, to broadcast the live broadcast of the Expo and the sale of goods throughout the time in response to the online Expo. The outdoor exhibition area is 40,000 square meters, and five major activity areas are set up: Changchun ice and snow landscape exhibition area, northeast folk custom scene commercial street, Changchun float exhibition area, snow slide entertainment area, and ice and snow sports event area.
Changchun Ice and Snow Landscape Display Area is located on the north side of No.1 Hall, featuring the unique ice sculptures and snow sculpture of Changchun as the main display content, supplemented by the ice pier, Bing Dwen Dwen and Shuey Rhon Rhon, the mascot of the Snow Expo.
Northeast Folk Commercial Street is located on the south side of No.7 and No.8 halls. It will focus on creating the hot and spicy customs of Guandong and the various style of lodging in Changchun.
The float display area is parallel to the Northeast Folk Street and will display the ten most beautiful floats with the themes of Changchun People, Changchun Modern Metropolitan Area, Changchun International Automobile City, Changchun with Snow and Ice, Changchun with Book Fragrance, Changchun Night Economy, beautiful countryside, 5A Scenic Area, snow expo and Changchun International Film Capital respectively, among which the float of Changchun International Film Capital will make its debut.
The Snow Slide Entertainment Area is located on the south side of Hall 9 and will be open to the public during the exhibition.
The ice and snow sports competition area will be in full swing on the north side of Hall 8, including snow earth, snow football, and snow games. At that time, 1,500 students will be invited to participate.
In addition, supporting activities such as the launch ceremony of Changchun Ice and Snow Happy Season 2020-2021, the "Experience Beijing Winter Olympics in Jilin" Online National Ski Challenge, the theme activity of "Going to Jilin for the Spring Festival", the Jilin Ice and Snow Angel Trail, the Changchun New Year Concert 2021, the float parade and the Changchun Youth Winter Sunshine Sports Conference will be launched one after another. Five provincial art troupes and the Liaoning Ballet of China have prepared eight performances, among which, the "Story of a Small Village", which was selected as an outstanding drama of stage art on the theme of poverty alleviation, will be staged for the first time on the 25th.
